Rose Cottage on 12th Avenue  is a few steps from Twin Lakes beach and a few minutes from Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor.

Lovingly restored, extensively upgraded and modernized, whilst retaining the original charm, our personal home is now available fully furnished as a short-term rental for up to 5 months.  

Furnished with English antiques, decorated with original art, and equipped with modern appliances, you can relax after a day enjoying our beach and many other local attractions.

Local Attractions

Twin Lakes Beach is the best 'local family beach' in Santa Cruz, perfect for walking, relaxing, or a beach fire at night.

Restaurants

Local restaurants include 'Star Benne' a top class ristorante Italiano, 'Nuevo' serving  nouveau cuisine south-west style, the popular Crows Nest,  and many more..

Downtown Santa Cruz has a vibrant night life with excellent restaurants, cinemas, book shops, night clubs, and more. Sip wine or coffee and enjoy the parade of street performers.

Don't miss a trip to the Farmers Market on Wednesday afternoons.

Enjoy rides on the Boardwalk, Walks along West Cliff Drive, eat fresh fish on the Santa Cruz Wharf, and wade in the tide pools at Natural Bridges State Park.

Visit Monterey Bay Aquarium, kayak on Elkhorn Slough.

Furnished with English antiques and original art. Read from our extensive library, relax in front of the the fire. LCD TV, DVD, VHS, Cable.

 Well equipped kitchen/ dining area

 An open plan layout provides free flow between living, dining and kitchen areas and is great for socializing.

Modern appliances, gas stove top, with wok burner, electric convection oven microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker. Well stocked with basics, condiments, and spices.

Master bedroom suite

        

Light and airy bedroom with morning sun. Original 'first-growth' redwood floor with queen size bed, featuring views of our lovely garden.

 

Ultra-modern en-suite bathroom with extra deep tub.

Upstairs bedroom suite with Queen size bed and one single bed with en-suite bathroom with shower.

Patio and Garden

There is plenty of outdoor space. Sit on the front porch, catch the morning sun on the front patio, or relax in the private garden and patio at the rear of the house. Gas BBQ for outdoor cooking.
